1. What approach does the EMBA program take?

The EMBA program is based on a strong general management foundation and a student may choose a functional specialization in their last trimester.
The courses in this program are presented to you in different ways: lectures from our professors, PowerPoint presentations for content, readings and case studies from the best universities in the world, activities and assignments to test learning, and discussion forums to promote discussion and conversation.
You’ll gain insight into complex areas that management draws from – accounting, engineering, statistics, law, psychology, economics, anthropology and many more.

Lectures
Class lectures are held on alternate weekends and our professors take students through complex business concepts, following an established program architecture and course outline. These lectures are also recorded and stored on the cloud to allow students to revisit them multiple times and the PowerPoint presentations and readings are shared on our learning management system (LMS) that all students have access to.

Activities/Assignments
Dayananda Sagar University has designed activities to help students understand their learning progress. These activities will give a better idea of how to apply concepts that you learn in class to complex problems in the real world.

We expect a student to complete the program in seventeen months with an outer limit of thirty-six months.

3. What if I cannot complete the program in thirty-six months?

The university will be pleased to extend the completion timeline on certain conditions being met.
